Before we begin
I didn’t learn life skills in a classroom. I learned them behind a radio mic, on 300 phone calls a night, in hotel lobbies far from home, and backstage at Formula 1 and award nights. This is the long version.

The boy who wanted to be on the radio.
I wanted to be a radio jockey. Nobody taught me, so I trained myself with YouTube, practice and mentors, and I made it to 94.3 MY FM.

The night shift
300 calls a night.
A BPO, an international process, selling duct-cleaning services to Australia. Between 250 and 300 calls every night. This is where I actually learned to talk to people.
